LANSING, Mich. — Lansing Common FC’s 2025 season will come to a close this weekend when they take on Holland Rovers FC at Eastern Stadium on Saturday, July 19 at 6:00 p. m.
The Robins have dropped their last three games after going on an impressive 6-0 streak to start the season. Goshen City FC stopped Lansing’s undefeated run on June 29 in a 3-1 loss. LCFC has since also fallen to Midwest United FC on July 11, 2-1, and Grand Rapids SC on July 13, 3-2.
LCFC struck first against Grand Rapids SC with a pair of first-half goals from forward Carter Hagan and defender Spencer Powe, but GRSC struck back three times in the second half to secure the win.
Lansing has one final home game to leave their mark on the 2025 season.
Holland Rovers recently took on Goshen City FC on July 12 and fell to them 3-1. Goshen City FC clinched the Midwest Premier League’s Great Lakes West Division title after last weekend’s results.
Lansing and Holland last met during the 2024 season where the Robins walked away with a 3-1 victory over Rovers in Holland. LCFC will be looking to end the season on a high note. A win over Rovers on Saturday will give Lansing a chance to finish as high as second in the division standings.
These two teams will battle it out on Saturday, July 19 at 6 p.m. at Eastern Stadium in Lansing Common’s season finale. Tickets are just $5 online or $7 at the gate. Food vendors include Cookin’ with Beans Mexican food, Smokin’ in the D barbecue, Capital City Sweets and Lansing Common’s regular concessions.
