LANSING, Mich – Lansing Common FC (6-2-2) closed out their 2026 Midwest Premier League season on a high note, with a 4-1 victory over Holland Rovers (2-7-1).

The game was tied at 1-1 in the 42nd minute when a back pass to LCFC goalkeeper Vaios Papadoudis slid under his foot and into the corner of the net for an own goal.

During halftime head coach Brent Sorg challenged his players to raise the intensity.

“Can we come out with a little more grit and fire power and get after it,” Sorg said he told his players during the team talk.

That’s exactly what his team did.

The Robins responded shortly after halftime when midfielder Jayson Janofski buried a shot into the top-right corner off an assist from defender Josh Angel-Craven to restore Lansing’s lead.
