Lansing Common FC will return home for the first time in over a month when the Robins host AIM SC at 6PM on Saturday, June 24th for Pride Night at Eastern Stadium.

Lansing Common concluded its six-game road trip on Wednesday, June 21st, with a 4-1 win over BiH Grand Rapids. The Robins boast a 4-1-1 record on the season, good for second place in the West Division of the Midwest Premier League’s Great Lakes Conference.

Second-year player Kevin Payne was one of the contributors, scoring his first goal as a Robin in the 45th minute.

Seth Russ was the focal point of the Robins’ 4-1 victory in Kentwood, MI. The forward recorded a hat-trick, the first Lansing Common player to do so this season.

“I think our confidence is pretty high, and now that we’re at home, we don’t have to travel or worry about any of that,” said Seth Russ. “I’m excited, and I think we’re going to continue to play well.”

The Robins’ winning streak has come in dominate fashion, as the club has outscored its opponents 13-1 over the last three matches.

“I would be worried if I was the other team right now. We’re just going to keep trying to win”, Russ said.

It couldn’t have come at a better time, as Lansing Common will host six straight home games to end the year. Sitting just four points back of first place heading into Saturday, the Robins will have several opportunities to gain ground on the West Division leaders with a month remaining on the schedule.

Kickoff is set for 6:00 pm at Eastern Stadium. Tickets are just $5 online when purchased through the Fanbase Clubs app or $7 at the gate.
