Lansing Common FC is excited to announce its 3rd Annual Community Soccer Kickoff event, which will take place on May 5th at 2 PM at Eastern Stadium. Admission is free and donations will be collected to support the Refugee Development Center.

The event will kick off at 2 PM with a free soccer clinic for youth of all ages, led by Lansing Common FC players and staff. A “Red vs White” intrasquad friendly where Lansing Common FC players face off against each other will follow the youth clinic.

Following the Red vs White game, fans will have a chance to participate in a skills competition alongside Lansing Common players.

“We can’t wait to welcome fans back to Eastern Stadium,” said club President Eric Walcott. “We hope fans will join us for a day of fun on the field, and join us in supporting the important work the Refugee Development Center does in building a more welcoming community in Lansing.

“RDC is deeply honored to receive the generous support of Lansing Common for our programs, amplifying our efforts to create a lasting impact within the community,” said RDC Executive Director Erika Brown-Binion. “Lansing Common goes above and beyond finding ways to put community first. We are lucky to have their generosity in our community.”
