LANSING, Mich – After a 2-0 road win over Midwest United FC last Friday, the Robins shift gears for a home friendly against Livonia-based Victory Soccer at Eastern Stadium on Sunday, May 31, at 4:00 p.m.

Lansing Common is coming off their first Midwest Premier League win of the season, powered by two goals from Xtreme Hauk. This marked Hauk’s second two-goal performance of the season after accomplishing the same feat against Ypsilanti Athletic FC earlier this month.

Sunday’s match will be Lansing Common’s third friendly of the season, giving many of the club’s reserve and younger players a chance to get some minutes.

Several players that feature in this match are expected to come from outside the first team regulars. The coaching staff focused on player development and gaining valuable experience during training earlier in the week.

“Any time you’re given an opportunity, go and grab the bull by the horns, showcase your talents, and get after it. It can be a great thing and great opportunity for these guys,” said Head Coach Brent Sorg.

Each player will be expected to bring energy and make sure the team stays connected with each other on the field.

Lansing Common faces off against Victory Soccer this Sunday, at 4:00 p.m. Tickets are just $5 online or $7 at the gate.
