Lansing Common FC (5-1-2) continue their homestand with a Great Lakes West Division matchup against Tulip City United SC (5-1-3) at 6:00pm on Saturday, July 8th at Eastern Stadium.

Both teams have earned 16 points in Midwest Premier League action, with Lansing having one game in hand on Tulip City. The Holland-based club comes into Saturday’s match after a two-week break due to a game that was cancelled on July 1st.

The Robins look to add a crucial three points in their quest for a Great Lakes West Division title, with upcoming opponents 1927 SC and West Michigan Bearings currently ahead of them in the standings.

After a night of frustration on the offensive side in a 1-0 loss to ThunderCats SC on June 30th, Lansing will try to regain their scoring form after the club was shut out for the first time all season.

Head coach Brent Sorg emphasized the importance of rest over the holiday weekend, as the Robins prepare for their stretch run. With both teams near the top of the table, LCFC is eager to shake off the recent loss and get a home win on Saturday night.

Should Lansing win all four of their remaining games, they are assured of the Division title.

Lansing Common FC vs Tulip City United SC is set to kick off at 6:00pm at Eastern Stadium. Tickets are just $5 online when purchased through the FanBase Clubs app or $7 at the gate.
